Trail Riding refers to riding on trails as opposed to riding on roads or a riding arena. This activity is about challenging terrain in the outdoors. Spontaneous competition often occurs between the riders as well, but speed is not the reason for trail riding. Just having fun and enjoying nature is the goal. Riders may stop at a challenging section and ride it over and over until new skills are learned.
